PetPop terms of sale

PetPop is free to play. These terms cover the optional things you can buy in it: packs, the PetPop Pass, extra pet slots and room keys. They are sold by STANDER Games (more on the seller page).

Who can buy

• You need a PetPop account. Guests cannot buy.
• If you are 18 or older, you can buy directly with your own PayPal account.
• If you are under 18, the Buy button sends a request to your parent or guardian instead. They see exactly what is inside and the price, and only they can approve and pay, with their own PayPal. Requests expire after 7 days. Parents can set a monthly spending limit or switch requests off in the parent dashboard.

Prices and paying

• Prices are in US dollars, because PayPal cannot take payments in rand. Visitors in South Africa also see an approximate rand price; PayPal converts at its own rate at checkout, so the final rand amount can differ a little.
• All payments go through PayPal. We never see your card or bank details.
• The price you pay is the price shown at the moment you buy. We may change prices for future purchases.

What you get

• Everything you can buy has fixed contents, listed in full before you pay. Nothing you pay for is random. (Random packs only come from playing, and their odds are always shown.)
• Packs arrive unopened in your game right after the payment goes through and open with the usual reveal. If you play on several devices, they arrive on the next sync.
• Things you buy are game items with no cash value. They cannot be swapped for money or moved to another account.
• Some creatures are never sold, such as the Legends and Buddy Pup. They are earned by playing.
• A creature from a Pass month is shown only once that month starts. It is sold in Rare or Mythical Packs from 3 months after its month, and past Pass Packs can be bought on their own.

The PetPop Pass

• Monthly (US$3.99 a month), Annual (US$34.99 a year) or Family (US$6.99 a month for a parent and up to 4 linked players, managed in the parent dashboard).
• Each month's Pass Pack arrives as that month begins, for as long as the Pass is active.
• While the Pass is active you also get double Arcade coins (the coins your mini game scores earn; coins picked up during a round, quests, levels and packs pay the usual amount), 4 Arcade packs a day instead of 2, room for 4 pets at home, 2 quest swaps and 2 Streak Shields, eggs that hatch twice as fast, a gold name badge and free wall repaints.
• The Pass renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time in your PayPal account; the Pass then runs to the end of the period already paid.
• If the Pass ends, you keep everything you received with it.

Refunds

See the refund policy. Whatever happens, a pet you have raised is never taken away.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time in the game (and a parent can delete their child's account in the parent dashboard). Deleting removes your pets and items for good; payment records are kept without your email for accounting, as explained in the privacy notice.

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep PetPop running, but it is a game provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.
